This saying was a bit of a play on this:

I found that very negative, especially the arguments behind it. If you don't mind a link intensive blog, you can read it all here: [link]

I made up the updated saying (IT RHYMES) and my friend typed it up for me.

Also please note:

:iconallthethingsplz: LINK ALL THE PARODIES!! :giggle: I drive the bandwagon. :iconawesomelurker: is mighty bull who pulls wagon.

EDIT Speaking of which, feel free to go through my gallery and comment or critique as you like. I don't mind at all!

EDIT 2 I can't thank everyone enough for all the faves and comments! Especially since it got to the front page! I've never had something do that before XD I can't thank everyone individually for all the faves, but I am replying to all the comments!

I did also check the box to make this critiqueable too! :meow:

Also about the comic sans- I had a word with my foxy friend and we agreed it should stay. It certainly highlights the words even if it highlights them in HATE.

As much as I appreciate the parody- and believe me, I do! - I wish you would have kept the original typeface, which is Futura (with Bold variations).
It was the only good thing the original had going for it, and your typeface choice is a little hard to read in my opinion.

I'm also in a self-debate over your color choice, seeing as the original was a very muted, demure red and your color is a high-saturation, practically neon purple. As much as I wish you would have went with a velvety navy blue or olive green to more match the original, on the other hand I see a contrast at play: muted primary color to bright secondary. I suppose time will tell how other viewers feel about this.

As for the positive things, I do like your take on the original and your reformatting is nicely done, considering your removal of a few lines that would all but throw off the alignment in inexperienced hands. Your centering at the bottom is clean, sharp and even and the bar is at a good height, not too thin to stifle the text yet not too thick to overtake the design.

As for the message? Right on.
